Slight disappointment with Comme des Garçons collection for H&M: ads are already out and a dress is to cost $349. The reason? The garments are all Comme, from the construction to the details, and not just H&M quality as it was in former top desginers’ lines. Good thing? You can get a very pricey CDG comapred to usual prices that rise to thousands of dollars. Negative? It’s not what our pockets were expecting for H&M. So, will they get to sell it all? I personally think yes. At least, they have me. For the first time I’m going to queue up. I’d rather pay a bit more for better quality.

Ya se ha visto el primer anuncio de Comme des Garçons para H&M y hay malas noticias: un vestido, 349 dólares (240 € aprox). Los precios no van a ser tan baratos como lo fueron en las anteriores colaboraciones con Lagerfeld, Viktor & Rolf y demás, pero es que en esta ocasión la ropa tampoco va a ser de calidad H&M. Se está haciendo enteramente a la manera Comme des Garçons, cuyas prendas originales suelen costar miles de euros. Con lo cual, aunque muchas clientas habituales van a flipar, yo personalmente lo prefiero. Adquirir un auténtico CDG por 200 y pico euros me parece un chollo. De hecho, es la primera vez que voy a hacer cola, a primeros de noviembre, que es cuando llegará la colección.
